Connie Thill, CPA

Connie Thill, a Certified Public Accountant based in Texas, USA, discovered her love of teaching children while studying accounting in college. Her experience with children range from numerous babysitting jobs to teaching classes in reading, dance, piano, Bible, computers as well as in business.

Along with her CPA practice, she has run a business in the craft industry and one in the health industry. Connie appreciates the creative energy of children and FunFinance merges her love of business with her love of children.

Connie and her husband raised their two boys who are now in their 20’s and who still bring home the family humor.

Lucinda Howells

Alumna of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI), Lucinda is also a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) trained teacher.

Lucinda previously worked with start-up businesses (in London, New York and Madrid) across a variety of sectors (financial PR, communications & media services, education and entertainment) learning about business and finance “on the job”.

Realising how lacking our education system has been in supporting us for life in the “real world”, she gained her certificate “Fundamentals of Financial Services” (CISI) in 2020 and now works regularly as a tutor for FunFinance – educating the next generation to make empowered choices as responsible global citizens and leaders of the future – and having fun while doing so!

Helen Lown

Helen Lown is a fully qualified British teacher with more than 20 years’ experience in British and International schools both in the UK and in Spain. After graduating with honours, Helen taught at various schools in South Wales before joining her new husband’s equestrian retail business and starting a family.

Managing a business alongside raising two daughters can be challenging, but the retail empire also grew to become one of the largest and most well respected of its type in South Wales. In 2007 the business was sold as a going concern and the young family moved to Southern Spain, whereupon Helen returned to teaching and within only 5 years was part of the senior management team at a popular British International school in the province of Cadiz.

This unique blend of business entrepreneurship and education make Helen the ideal tutor for the students of the FunFinance Virtual Business School for Kids.
